DAPP Awards Wholesale Winners

In the month of December, the DAPP Clothes and Shoes project introduced a competition for its bale customers in its 9 wholesale shops.

The customers who made the most purchases between December and January were qualified to win bales of clothes worthy MWK66,250, MWK44,300 and MWK25,250 for first place, second and third respectively. Three customers who made the most purchases were to win bales of clothes from their respective shops.

On 9 February, the Clothes and Shoes project started award the customers in Zomba and Blantyre shops. The first place winners were awarded a 45KGs Ladies mix blouse bale, 15KGs Children 0 to 6 for second place and 45KGs sport economy for third place.

The clothes and shoes project apart from promoting environmental conversation through recycling and reusing of clothes, also create self employment for bale customers who buy clothes at wholesale and sell on retail to earn a living. Funds generated from the sale of Second-hand Clothes and Shoes support DAPP's implementations of social and economic development projects by DAPP.
