Child Aid Neno
The project was built on the idea that the people in a community will start working together in a structured way to discuss and decide to take actions to solve issues of mutual interest for the community, in particular those that involve the wellbeing and upbringing of children. This is to create and ensure a safe and conducive environment for raising children.
The project targeted to reach 9,000 families or a total of 45,000 people organized in 20 productive units. But due to the increase in number of families per village, the project reached out to 61,100 people in 230 villages of Traditional Authorities (TAs) Dambe and Chekucheku in Neno district.
The Child Aid Neno project implemented its activities from April 2018 to March 2019.
