DAPP Mikolongwe Vocational School
Mikolongwe Vocational School started its operations in 1997 at Providence Industrial Mission (P.I.M) in Chiradzulu district. The project moved from the rented building to its own campus in the area of Group Village Headman Mataka, Traditional Authority Likoswe in 1999.The school started, with four courses and now offers eleven courses. The school is registered and accredited by TEVET Authority under Ministry of Labour, Sports, Youth and Manpower Development. To date over 8,500 young people have graduated from the various courses offered through both the formal and informal training.
Throughout the years, the idea of the project has been centered on equipping young men and women with technical skills and knowledge for them to become productive youths, be able to secure employment or become self-reliant by starting up small-scale businesses, thereby alleviating poverty.
