Vocational Training
DAPP Mikolongwe Vocational School started its operations in 1997 at Providence Industrial Mission (P.I.M) in Chiradzulu district and later moved to its present campus in 1999. The project is centered on equipping young men and women with technical and vocational skills and knowledge for them to become productive youths, who are able to secure employment or become self-reliant by starting up small-scale businesses, thereby alleviating poverty.
The school is registered and accredited by Technical Entrepreneurial and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TEVETA). Mikolongwe Vocational School is one of the selected training providers for TEVETA’s Skills Development Initiative (SDI) for the informal sector.

The school will in 2017 have 220 students under the formal training and 400 students enrolled for short courses under the informal training.
